**** After 2 adventurous years as a 911 calltaker and dispatcher I have decided to go back to school. I still have a notebook of stories to share as well as good friends at the call center I left who keep me posted. The blog will continue as long as I have postworthy material :) Thank you to all my readers and to the officers, paramedics, fire fighters, and dispatchers who continue to serve the public in their hours of need.
A woman called because her smoke alarm was beeping. When asked what assistance she needed, she stated she wanted someone to come out and take care of it. Why you might ask? Well her explanation was, "I am Asian; I cannot reach it."
