911 Police & Fire
**** After 2 adventurous years as a 911 calltaker and dispatcher I have decided to go back to school. I still have a notebook of stories to share as well as good friends at the call center I left who keep me posted. The blog will continue as long as I have postworthy material :) Thank you to all my readers and to the officers, paramedics, fire fighters, and dispatchers who continue to serve the public in their hours of need.

The Wonders of Caller ID
If you call 911, yell at the dispatcher, then hang up, when the dispatcher calls back do not answer the phone, "who the hell is calling me at this time of night?"
