**** After 2 adventurous years as a 911 calltaker and dispatcher I have decided to go back to school. I still have a notebook of stories to share as well as good friends at the call center I left who keep me posted. The blog will continue as long as I have postworthy material :) Thank you to all my readers and to the officers, paramedics, fire fighters, and dispatchers who continue to serve the public in their hours of need.
One too many = calling 911 and saying you are being held captive in a red SUV when really you are so drunk that your friends sent you home in a cab and somehow you confused the cab driver with a kidnapper.

most cab drivers are part time kidnappers.... or vise versa.
with the economy being crappy, most people do need a second job to get by :)
