**** After 2 adventurous years as a 911 calltaker and dispatcher I have decided to go back to school. I still have a notebook of stories to share as well as good friends at the call center I left who keep me posted. The blog will continue as long as I have postworthy material :) Thank you to all my readers and to the officers, paramedics, fire fighters, and dispatchers who continue to serve the public in their hours of need.

engine 2 you are responding to shortness of breast... i kid you not.
Omg! Worst ever.. I meant to say "Units start for a loud party in the parking lot" and instead said "Units start for a loud farting in the party lot." -most embarrassing day ever... Aside from the time i had an open Mic and was singing "stand by me" for nearly 2 minutes on the radio. Units had to call my supervisor desk to tell me!
