**** After 2 adventurous years as a 911 calltaker and dispatcher I have decided to go back to school. I still have a notebook of stories to share as well as good friends at the call center I left who keep me posted. The blog will continue as long as I have postworthy material :) Thank you to all my readers and to the officers, paramedics, fire fighters, and dispatchers who continue to serve the public in their hours of need.
If you have the bad habit of losing your keys, placing one of those "please return to: name, address, phone number" cards on your keychain may work in Pleasantville. In reality this is a surefire way for the finder to get into your house and become the keeper of all your nice things.
