Constant Need for Validation

I would just like to make it clear to anyone who may call 911 in the future for some sort of noise disturbance, please do not tell the dispatcher to "listen" and then immediately take the phone away from your ear and point it in the direction of the noise before the dispatcher can protest. The likelihood that the dispatcher will be able to hear the noise is slim and even if the noise can be heard by the dispatcher, this validation that a noise was actually heard will not get the cops there any faster.

a keep getting calls from a PO's lady who repeatedly (4x/night)calls the cops on her neighbors for making too much noise by, e.g., playing foosball in their garage (WTH?!). She wants me to "talk to" the cops who aren't arresting them, 'cuz god knows that the jails aren't full enough!

LOL...this reminds me of little kids who are talking to you on the phone and say, "See?" as if you can see what's on their end of the line. Course they have an excuse...they don't know any better;)
