**** After 2 adventurous years as a 911 calltaker and dispatcher I have decided to go back to school. I still have a notebook of stories to share as well as good friends at the call center I left who keep me posted. The blog will continue as long as I have postworthy material :) Thank you to all my readers and to the officers, paramedics, fire fighters, and dispatchers who continue to serve the public in their hours of need.

So do you think there are mulberry-flavored condoms out there?
There is a fire in the Jackass Flats area near the CA/NV border. I dont thing the Inc Commander thought it through when he named it the Jackass Fire. How many times have you wished you could say, "Jackass Command, go ahead for dispatch"?
